How I will support you

Whether we work together in person - at one of my counselling rooms in Maldon, Essex or Online, I will ensure that you have a space just for you to just professionally breathe!

I have been very fortunate to have had great clinical supervisors throughout my practice. As I think we all do, I model how I supervise based on their great qualities and combine them with my personal and professional personality to deliver the supervisory experience.

As your clinical supervisor, my primary focus will be on providing tailored support that aligns with your unique and professional needs. I will create a safe and collaborative environment where you can openly discuss challenges and successes.

Together, we will set specific goals and develop strategies that enhance your skills, practice and confidence. My commitment is to adapt my approach to you, giving the necessary guidance for your growth and success in your clinical practice.

How I work as a supervisor

As a supervisor, I focus on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for my supervisee. Utilising the Shohet 7 Eyed Model of Supervision, I ensure we explore various perspectives, including the supervisee’s experience, the client’s needs, and the organizational context. Additionally, I apply the Integrative Development Model to tailor my approach, promoting the professional growth of each supervisee whilst addressing their unique challenges.

My professional experience has included significant safeguarding and risk management roles which has aided my clinical judgment and ability to support you with heightened safeguarding cases where required.

I bring my clinical experience from working across all three sectors at different levels to adapt to what you require in line with your role and practice. Through my training and experience I can provide tailored clinical supervisor if you are a counsellor, teacher, social worker or case worker working in the Private, Public or Third Sector. Whether you work for yourself or are part of a wider organisational system - I can relate.
